Programme Overview

The Grenada Citizenship-by-Investment Program, established under the Citizenship by Investment Act of 2013, stands out as one of the most elite and strategically advantageous global mobility options available. Managed under rigorous oversight by Investment Migration Grenada (IMA Grenada), the programme is highly regarded for its sophisticated balance of robust regulatory compliance and unparalleled international utility. Often referred to as the 'Spice Island' of the Caribbean, Grenada offers more than geographic insulation — it serves as a unique commercial bridge to major global economies. For clients of Burbridge Capital, acquiring Grenadian citizenship represents a profound advancement in asset protection, international market access, and long-term multi-generational security — executed completely remotely without requiring physical relocation.

The Process

How Burbridge Capital
manages your application

1
Secure Pre-Screening
Our in-house compliance team conducts a preliminary, private review of your background and source of funds to mitigate regulatory risks. Upon clearance, we formalise our engagement and issue your bespoke document checklist.
2
File Compilation & Legalisation
Our specialised legal team assists in compiling all required civil certificates, police clearances from the past 10 years, medical questionnaires, and source-of-wealth dossiers. All documents are professionally translated, notarised, and apostilled.
3
Official Submission & Vetting
The complete dossier is formally filed with IMA Grenada. Mandatory government processing fees, international due diligence fees, and application charges are settled. Independent global intelligence firms commence comprehensive vetting checks.
4
Mandatory Virtual Interview
In compliance with harmonised regional standards, the main applicant, spouse, financial sponsor, and all dependants aged 17 and over must attend a confidential, brief online interview with government compliance officers.
5
Approval-in-Principle & Capital Transfer
Upon clearing background checks, the government issues an official written Approval-in-Principle. The applicant completes their chosen capital path — transferring the NTF donation or settling the real estate escrow.
6
Naturalisation & Passport Handover
The government officially registers your naturalisation and issues your Certificate of Citizenship. Biometric passports are printed and securely dispatched to Burbridge Capital for private hand-delivery to your preferred location.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the secondary government fees required if I choose the USD 270,000 Real Estate option?+
Unlike the NTF donation route where government fees are wrapped into the contribution, the real estate route requires a separate government administrative fee. For a family of up to four people (including the main applicant), the flat government fee is USD 50,000. For each additional dependent, further fees ranging between USD 25,000 and USD 75,000 apply depending on their age and relation.
Can I apply for the US E-2 Visa immediately after obtaining my Grenada passport?+
Under the Amending the AMIGOS Act passed by the US government, citizenship-by-investment applicants from treaty countries must satisfy a 3-year domicile requirement before they are eligible to apply for an E-2 Visa. This means you must establish a primary residence or domicile in Grenada for 3 years before filing your US E-2 visa application with the US authorities.
Is the USD 235,000 donation fully refundable if the government rejections my application?+
The USD 235,000 donation is completely protected. Under Grenadian law, you are only required to transfer the principal investment amount after your file has successfully passed all due diligence stages and you have received an official, written "Approval-in-Principle" from the Minister. If rejected during vetting, you will only have lost the non-refundable government processing and due diligence fees.
How does Grenada's visa-free access to China work for business travelers?+
Grenada is one of a select few countries worldwide that holds a mutual visa-waiver agreement with the People's Republic of China. As a Grenadian citizen, you can enter China for up to 30 days per visit without a visa, making it an incredibly powerful tool for international corporate structuring, supply-chain monitoring, and business expansion.
How long is the Grenada passport valid for, and how do I handle renewals?+
The Certificate of Registration is permanent and ensures your citizenship for life. The actual passport travel document is valid for 5 years for children under the age of 16, and 10 years for adults. Passports can be renewed remotely through any Grenada consulate or directly via Burbridge Capital's ongoing corporate desk.
Can I include my adult siblings in a family application?+
Yes, Grenada is highly unique in allowing the inclusion of siblings. To qualify, the sibling must be a brother or sister of either the main applicant or the spouse, be at least 18 years of age, be unmarried, have no children, and be fully financially dependent on the main applicant.
